Training Module 2 "Boosting Research Cooperation with Enterprises and Participation in International Projects"
From 30 th of May to 2 nd of June 2011 the second Training Module has been held at the National Metallurgical Academy of the Ukraine. Representatives (vice-rectors, researchers and innovation office staff) of 6 Ukrainian universities as well as the representative from the Chamber of Commerce have participated actively and accentuated their managerial capacities and skills in topics related to the participation in international R&D projects with enterprises and research fundraising.
The methodology of the trainings was interactive and participative, containing case studies and practical group exercises.
Experienced staff from the University of Alicante - Alexandra Mayr -, and from the University of Bologna – Alessandra Baccigotti and Marco Degani - have provided insights in the following contents:
- Development and successful management of research to market processes and links
- Research and innovation fundraising
- Access to funding programmes for international scientific cooperation
- Research and project management skills (how to draft proposals, management of projects and use the results for the public good, etc)
- Practical exercise on developing a concept for the implementation of thematic roundtables with industry
On the 2 nd of June a Project Meeting was held where the PC partner Universalities innovation offices staff have presented the Innovation Office´s performed task and all dissemination activities. Many of the installed Innovation offices have already developed the first stage of the “Innovation Prize” concourse.
